About the artist: With an abiding love of nature developed roaming through the lush green fields, forests and streams of her Ohio childhood, artist Rosiland Solomon has always specialized in illustrating and designing nature-based products. Originally trained in airbrushing guaches in a movie poster studio in Hollywood, Rosiland moved on to illustrating in pencil, ink, and mixed media. Now she generally works with her favorite paintbrushes in photoshop, creating art that still looks hand-drawn or painted, or her still-loved hand-drawn pen and ink, to create artwork that is gently and sweetly realistic.
