When deputy district attorney Jimmy Wyler accepts a job at Hoffman & Associates law firm, he find himself handling sensational high-profile cases straight off the evening news. First, he defends a woman arrested for murdering the governor of California. Next, he takes the defense for an NBA basketball superstar arrested for the murder of a flamboyant team owner.
